La villa Katsura a eu une influence d\u00e9terminante sur le monde de l&rsquo;architecture occidentale. Des membres fondateurs du mouvement moderne tel que Le Corbusier et Walter Gropius y virent l\u2019incarnation de leurs th\u00e9ories sur l\u2019espace. Ils furent fascin\u00e9s par sa grande contemporan\u00e9it\u00e9.
