Neutra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cIt is a period to which many of us have been anxiously looking forward for long years \u201d. <span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">These<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">words written by<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Neutra<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">early in the program<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">shows how<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Case<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Study Program<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">was an<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">expected<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">event.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Indeed,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Neutra<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">wore a<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">constant<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">interest in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">innovation in the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">field of design<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and construction<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of individual<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">houses.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">During these long<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">years,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Neutra<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">thought<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to bring<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">out of the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">home<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">craft<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">industrialization.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">The<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">two-bedroom house<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is a problem that<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">has already solved<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">many times.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Plans<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in 1948<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">are<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">line with<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">all the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">reflection<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that he developed<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">during<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">his career.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-315\" title=\"Neutra-CSH_20-05\" src=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-05.jpg 595w, https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-05-300x242.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-285\" title=\"Neutra-CSH_20-03\" src=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-03.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-03-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-03-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\"><\/span>The constructive options:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assembling a prefabricated core services and containing wet and heating installations was a limiting factor of the plan.<\/li>\n<li>This core was placed so as not to prevent future extensions of the villa.<\/li>\n<li>In a second step, an extension was added to the south in 1958.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-305\" title=\"Neutra-CSH_20-04\" src=\"http:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-04.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.archigraphie.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Neutra-CSH_20-04-300x111.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3>Figure 1::<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The house has an L-shaped plan with the dining room and living room facing south open on a \u00ab\u00a0social\u00a0\u00bb patio bordered by giant Eucalyptus.<\/li>\n<li>Both bedrooms have their own open to the west garden.<\/li>\n<li>The composition of the house based on a frame alternating category successively 10 feet and 4 feet.<\/li>\n<li>The combination of these two measurements: a structural dimension and the dimensions of prefabricated wet core which houses all services (kitchen and bathroom) for the 10 feet.<\/li>\n<li>The dimensions of 4 feet of the frame are treated rather as margins in the project.
